Abstract

This study conducts a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) focusing on methodologies for inventorying the tourism and cultural offer for traditional peoples in Brazil. The main objective is to present the methodologies used and their adequacy or limitations in the context of traditional peoples. To achieve this objective, the research followed a rigorous SLR protocol, structured into five distinct phases and conducted across five databases: SciELO, RCAAP, Scopus, Redalyc, and Semantic Scholar. Each phase of the process was carefully planned and executed, using the SMARTER method (Simple Multi-Attribute Rating Technique using Exploiting Rankings) to assess the quality and relevance of the selected studies. The results reveal significant gaps in the current literature, especially regarding the adaptation of inventory methodologies to the cultural and tourism specificities of traditional peoples. The unique characteristics of traditional peoples are not being considered by current approaches, wich highlights the urgency of developing new methodologies that are culturally sensitive and adapted to their specific contexts.
