Negative impacts from the urban mobility system are one of the main challenges for urban planning today. The understanding of the cause and effect process and the relations between them is fundamental for environmental management aiming at reducing the manifestation of negative externalities of those impacts. The purpose of this work is to develop a proposal for a conceptual model of the environmental impacts resulting from the transportation and urban mobility. The research was done on bibliographic databases used to establish the relationship between environmental aspects and impacts in an integrated way through a Related Flow of Environmental Events, an instrument for integrating the events responsible for the transforming activity and its potential effects on the environment. The research made it possible to identify a range of impacts related to the transportation and urban mobility system, as well as to identify the hypothetical relationships between the causative factors and the environmental impacts.Downloads
