The intensity of soil use and occupation in a hydrographic basin is strongly associated with the soil impermeabilization level from that same area, and because of that, these aspects should be worked together. The information mapping is a well used resource to show the standards of space use and occupation, visualizing the facts in space helps in the comprehension of existing interactions. The detailed study of the hydrographic basin at ‘Córrego da Fazenda Santa Cândida’ intends to identify, map and interpreted the use and occupation of the soil, and in that way cooperate with politic actions related to urban hydrographic basins in metropolitan areas.Downloads
