Abstract

The aim of this study was to analyze and discuss a recent strategic governance approach. The research was characterized as exploratory, qualitative approach, bibliographical design through documental analysis of the literature and case studies published. This new approach shows how many companies are taking on the project management framework, developing their own methodologies in management solutions that combine the best practices of the traditional model of project management, used in more stable scenarios, and with well-defined scopes, with the best practices of agile model project management for dynamic and flexible scenarios as are the scenarios sector of Information Technology. This association of good practice is to obtain better results, combining flexibility with predictability.
