Product is one of the most important indicators when we are dealing with public policy evaluation. Due to that, the study aims to describe which independent variables (economical, territorial and infrastructural) have a relationship with local governments' product. Ceará has been chosen to describe the above mentioned regularities for the 2005 to 2009 period. The study's results show that all considered independent variables have a relationship with local governments' product. The study also shows that total investment does not have the same proportional productivity. It will be important to improve efficiency in Ceará Local governments. The study results can be used by other Brazilian States when politicians are dealing with public policy decisions.Downloads
