Analyzed the interactions between economic agents to examine how innovation and competitiveness in an industry are systemic and coevolve. Specifically, analyzed the interactions and technological links between companies and other organizations that make up the sectoral system of innovation in the chemical industry of Alagoas, in 2014, comparing with Santa Rita et al (2009). The study is quantitative, and descriptive about the objectives. Applied a census survey to twenty-two companies of the Alagoaschemical industry. Data analysis techniques used nonparametric statistics, the W concordance coefficient Kendall to examine the correlation between the existing dimensions of organizations, technologies and institutions and the r correlation coefficient of Spearman because of the linear relationship. In particular, the interaction between companies and other organizations of the system posted growth, except trade unions, associations and public bodies. Also, the boundaries of the three dimensional system, organizations, institutions and technology, illustrated that the size organizations made the higher degree of applicability within the system, while the size institutions reduced the degree. As conclusion, empirical tests showed the degree of correlation between the development of technologies, organizations that develop and the institutions that regulate the use of technology as Malerba (2002), rejecting the null hypothesis of no correlation between the dimensions. Additionally described a literature review and practical application of the phenomenon of innovation and the link with industry systems.Downloads
