The endogenous processes and the construction of new development strategies allow researchers to consider the territory as the main agent of leverage development - not only economic, but social and local. This view of the territory enables the understanding of the "proximity effects" , which favor the strengthening of social capital, in its various dimensions. This research aims to analyze social capital linked to the development of territories, and proposes a framework for evaluating territorial social capital. In order to achieve this goal, we conducted a descriptive research using the survey method. The results suggest four factors explaining the territorial social capital: proximity, territorial anchorage, reciprocity and collective memory.Downloads
