ARRANGEMENTS FOR URBAN SOLID WASTE DIMENSIONS MANAGEMENT AMONG CITIES CONSORTIA

Abstract

This study discussed arrangements for financial management of the operation of the urban solid waste in consortia. The study was motivated by the growing interest of society in issues of sustainability, the challenges the capacity of municipalities in USW management, as well as the opportunity to optimize resource use and waste treatment methods other than simple grounding. The study showed an intense action of the scale effect in the processing units and disposal of waste, which has to do with the viability of treatment units, as well as forms of public-private interaction.
